A Special Partner Letter

June 2025
Dear Partner and Friend!
The Lord laid it upon my heart to write to you about His great care for you.Ā Ā THE FATHER CARES FOR YOU!Ā Ā In line with that, I wanted to write and stir your heart about the beautiful spiritual discipline ofĀ ācasting your cares upon the Lord.ā
Learning to practice this simple but powerful discipline can make all the difference as to whether or not you get results and see fruit from Godās Word in your life. Itās really that important!
1 Peter 5:5-7
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for āGod resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.ā
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
This verse in First Peter teaches us one of the main ways we can practically humble ourselves under Godās mighty hand. And HOW can we do that? By casting all our care upon Him.
When we donāt practice this powerful discipline, itās as if we are saying to ourselves and to the Lord,
āI can handle this. I can take care of this all by myself. I will figure a way out!āĀ
Care and worry is often pride in disguise.
All the while, our good Father God wants to be our ācare-takerā and work things out for us, IF…if only we will humble ourselves and learn to cast our cares upon Him.
Philippians 4:6ā7
Be anxious for nothing, but inĀ everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,Ā let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Be anxious for nothing, but inĀ everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,Ā let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The Scriptures exhort us not to be anxious about anything, but rather to pray about everything. We are invited to āmake our requests known to God.ā What an invitation! The Father cares!
But what happens when we arenāt spiritually diligent to thoughtfully and intelligently make our requests known to God? What is the result? Anxiety remains!
Proverbs 12:25
Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.
Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.
Have you ever found yourself feeling depressed but you werenāt sure exactly why?
Sometimes depression can be caused by an evil spiritual influence that needs to be rebuked and commanded to leave in Jesusā Name. But more often than not, depression can simply be a result of anxiety which has been allowed to remain and build up in our hearts. āAnxiety in the heart of man causes depression.ā Thatās what this verse says.
And so whatās the remedy in such cases?
Sometimes relieving anxiety can be as simple as taking action upon a certain matter that you have been procrastinating about, which you know needs your attention. Getting things moving and taking action can definitely relieve anxiety!
But often what we really need is a good ācare-casting sessionā where we unload our cares and burdens on the Lord. We need to take some time to diligently make our petitions and requests known to Him. In a sense, we need to slow down long enough to be able to āunpackā all of the individual items that have been trying to make us feel worried, fretful, or upset.
The Bible reminds us of the important spiritual discipline and responsibility that falls to each of us to manage what we allow and do not allow into our hearts. No one can do this for you. Itās up to you to tend to your own heart.
- āKeep (guard) your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.ā [Prov 4:23]
- āLet not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.ā [Jn 14:1]
- āLet not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.ā [Jn 14:27]
- āBut take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down (depressed) with…cares of this life…ā [Lk 21:34]
Praise God! You donāt have to do any of this on your own though. The Father cares for you!
Casting Your Care Is Spiritual Warfare
Mark 4:13-15
He said to them, āDo you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away THE WORD that was sown in their hearts.ā
He said to them, āDo you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away THE WORD that was sown in their hearts.ā
Many have not understood just how serious this matter of casting our cares can be for a child of God. Itās really a matter of spiritual warfare.
We learn from Jesusā teaching in Mark 4 that satan is always coming to steal Godās words to us. The battle is for The Word! And why is that?
Godās Word is our transportation into our divine destiny.Ā It is the very thing that enables us to go forward with God.
Godās Word is our vision for the future.Ā It enables us to see what God sees and all that He has prepared for us.
Godās Word is our health and healing.Ā He sent His Word to heal us!
Godās Word is the Seed to the revelation of all that belongs to us in Christ.
Whether you realize it or not, Godās Word to you is THE MOST VALUABLE AND PRECIOUS THING you have in your life! If you have the Word of God regarding any specific area of your life, then you can have God in that area. But without the Word, God has nothing to confirm. He has nothing to work with. NO WORD = NO GOD!
So itās easy to see why satanās objective is to steal the Word! And one of the ways he is able to render Godās Word unfruitful in our lives is through this subtle area of CARES.
Learning to cast our cares upon the Lord is now really a matter of SPIRITUAL WARFARE. It is a spiritual discipline which we must learn to practice and employ if we want to continue to make progress in the things of God and His kingdom.
Mark 4:18ā19
āNow, these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.ā
āNow, these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.ā
The word ācaresā in these verses is the same word that we read about in 1 Peter 5:7āācasting all your care upon Him…ā. And if you will look at the following verses in context, you will see that the devil finds a connection and inroads into our hearts and lives through this very areaāthrough our cares.
1 Peter 5:6ā8
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
What exactly are cares? āCaresā are worries, anxieties, or distractions. Cares are anything that would vie for our attentionāanything that would try to get inside our hearts and minds, causing our attention to be distracted, divided, or diverted from what God has spoken.
If we do not deal with our cares in a humble and responsible manner, by casting them upon the Lord, these same cares end up being more powerful than Godās words sown in our hearts. Imagine that!
This may seem difficult to believe but itās true! Thatās exactly what Jesus taught! The cares of this life āchoke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful.ā
Isaiah 55:11
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Godās Word is indeed powerful! It is the incorruptible SEED that will produce 30, 60, and 100-fold for whatever purpose God sent it. But it is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to tend to our heartsāthe very place where the seed of God’s Word is sown. One of the main ways we do this is by taking the cares from our hearts and minds and casting them over
on the Lord.
This action of ācastingā literally means to throw upon. It is done deliberately and sometimes even forcefully. We do this in prayer using the words of our mouth.
āFather God, Iām officially casting the care of this upon You! Itās no longer mine, but Iām now handing it over to
You! I believe that You care for me.ā
If you will cast your cares upon the Lord, your heart will be good ground to produce the kind of results that Godās Word promises.Ā And then, in the time of need you will be able to pull up that same Word from God out of your heart and use it asĀ the sword of the Spirit to make spiritual progress.Ā [Eph 6:17]Ā But with a heart that is cluttered with cares, worries, and anxieties, Godās Word will seem inaccessible when you need it most.
Friend, if you have not yet learned this spiritual practice, I would encourage you to begin to practice it immediately.Ā The Father is waiting and He really CARES FOR YOU!Ā He really wants to help you out!
Without learning this important truth and spiritual practice, you will be left with what could be described as āreligion.āĀ In other words, you will end up regularly attending meetings and services, hearing good messages week after week, but still wonder why Godās Word is not working in your life.
This is one big reason as to why people donāt see resultsāthey havenāt learned how truly important it is to cast their cares upon the Lord.Ā Through ācaresā satan has been able to choke out many good words and messages, causing them to become unfruitful.
God Guards Those Things You Commit To Him
2 Timothy 1:12
For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless, I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed to Him.
For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless, I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed to Him.
The word ākeepā in this verse can also be translated as āguard.āĀ God is able to guard those things that we take out from our hearts and commit to Him!
It could be any number of things that are trying to bother you. It might be related to your employment, a family problem, or a strained relationship.Ā Or it could be something precious that God has given you to stewardāyour marriage, your health, or your finances. It might even be related to your calling from God.Ā Absolutely anything!
Satan will always try to needle you with those things and in those areas that you hold most dear and precious to you.Ā This is why itās so refreshing to be reminded that THE FATHER CARES FOR YOU!
But hereās the catch: God is only able to guard and keep those things which we have made the spiritual effort to commit to Him. He doesnāt guard every matter for everyone.Ā Ā
Itās not that God doesnāt care.Ā He does care!Ā And He cares even more than we know!Ā But we must allow Him this place of ācare-takerā over our cares by committing them to Him.Ā Ā
In one sense, you could say that God sort of āminds His own business,ā in that He wonāt intrude or interfere with your business unless you specifically ask Him to be involved and then cast your cares upon Him.Ā
Our God, in all His power and might, is a āperfect Gentlemanā and generally only gets involved where He is invited or called upon.Ā Ā Our faith in God is what pleases Him and gives Him this very invitation. [Heb 11:6]Ā And one way we demonstrate our faith is by acting upon His Word and committing our cares to Him!
The word translated as āto commitā in 2 Timothy literally means āto deposit.āĀ We are to deposit our cares with the Lord!
Many banks today offer such services as āsafety deposit boxesā where you can deposit valuable and precious items to be preserved and protected by bank security.Ā It would be ridiculous and presumptuous to think that one of your most valuable and precious watches or necklaces was protected if you never went to the bank and deposited it into the safety box!Ā
The same holds true with cares that we personally hold onto and continue to worry about, rather than casting them upon the Lord.Ā If we still have the care, then the Lord doesnāt have it!Ā These precious items must be committed into His loving and capable care.
Cast Your Cares And Leave Them There!
1 Peter 5:7 (AMPC)
Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and watchfully.
Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and watchfully.
We must learn to commit our cares to the Lord once and for all, and to leave them with Him!Ā This gives Him the spiritual place and authority that He desires to guard and perfect these most precious areas for us.
Although it can be tempting to continue to worry and be upset, casting your cares upon the Lord is really the most responsible thing you can do for whatever is troubling you.Ā Your Father really cares for you!Ā And HE IS ABLE to guard and keep what you entrust to Him!
Psalm 55:22
Cast your burden on the Lord, andĀ He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to beĀ moved.
Cast your burden on the Lord, andĀ He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to beĀ moved.
Psalm 138:8
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands.
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands.
The Lord is saying this to you:
āGive Me every care you have.Ā Give Me everything that concerns you,Ā and I will perfect those things.
I am The Great Fixer, and I will fix all of them for you!Ā But you must commit them to Me once and for all, and let Me take care of them.ā
Once you have cast your cares and burdens upon the Lord, the enemy will return at some point and try to get you to once again take back the care and worry upon yourself.Ā You can be sure of that!Ā Thatās when you have to speak up and say, āNo!Ā Thatās not my care anymore!Ā Iāve cast that care upon my Father and itās with Him now.Ā He cares for me!ā
My friend, you must cast your care upon the Lord, once and for all, and determine that you are going to LEAVE IT THERE!Ā
1 Peter 5:7 (TPT)
Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.
Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.
Whenever you feel tempted to once again worry about one of these precious items, you can use it as an opportunity to rehearse to your Heavenly Father just how thankful you are that He is taking care of things for you.Ā Giving God THANKS will enable you to remain in a place of faith, instead of worry.
And letās remember what this is really all about.Ā Itās not really about the situation you are tempted to be anxious and bothered with.Ā More than that!Ā Itās about Godās Word to you!Ā That care has come to steal the Word!Ā But you donāt have to allow it.Ā You can cast all your care upon the Lord and continue forward in His plans and purposes for your life, knowing that HE CARES FOR YOU!
God is the faithful God!Ā He is a Covenant-keeping God! He is faithful to a thousand generations, and He will also prove faithful to you!Ā He loves you with an unfailing love. Ā So go ahead and cast your burden on The Lord, and allow Him to sustain you.
Give Him every area of your lifeāmention them one by one to Him!
Go ahead and find the Scripture that covers your situation and make your request known to Him.
Go ahead and roll every potential worry, anxiety, and distraction on your faithful Father.Ā He cares for you!
āFather, I give You the care of my whole life and my future.Ā I refuse to worry about anything pertaining to it!
I cast the care of my family on You.
I cast the care of this financial need on You.
I cast the care of this ministry on You.
I cast the care of my reputation and what others think about me on You.ā
Remember, as you cast your cares uponāthe Lord, not only are you committing your cares to Him, but you are also humbly placing yourselfāUNDER HIS MIGHTY HAND.Ā And there is no better place to be!
Once you have done your diligence and cast every care upon The Lord, itās time to make this bold declaration:
āI am carefree!Ā I am completely and totally carefreeāthere is nothing bothering me!
My Father God cares for me!ā
āJoseph Kack
